Recent Case Results
- United States v. DBS: Adriana defended a rapper accused of PPP fraud in South Florida. Her thorough, meticulous defense secured the client a below- guidelines sentence of 18 months, one of the lowest issued on a PPP case in the district.
- United States v. S.L.: Defended a physician accused of conspiracy to commit bank fraud. Adriana’s strategic sentencing presentation led to a probationary sentence without incarceration, despite the guidelines suggesting 33-41 months of imprisonment.
- Pre-Indictment Investigation of A.M.: Successfully represented a contractor under investigation for bribery of a public official. Adriana’s vigorous defense led to the government declining to file charges.
- Pre-Indictment Investigation of K.P.: Defended a UK investment advisor suspected of conspiring with a man impersonating a Saudi prince in an $8 million fraud scheme. Adriana’s presentation of exculpatory evidence persuaded the government to use K.P. as a witness rather than charging them as a co- conspirator. The story was featured on ABC’s “The Con.”
